The Force Ten Rally was well attended despite the very wintery weather. Several ticket holders were unable to attend however as the weather conditions near them made it too dangerous to travel. We didn’t have a lot of snow, but very severe frosts and low overnight temperatures on the Thursday and Friday nights. It improved on Saturday night and most travelled home in improving conditions on Sunday. Who would have thought that we were all looking forward to any temperature above zero.

Both the duck pond and the canal were frozen over and two of our weekend guests got very wet, thanks to one stepping into the canal, and the other jumping in to help them out. Thank You to others who came to their rescue and David at the Green Man who took their clothes away to be washed and dried. In borrowed clothing they hogged the pub fire until warmed up.

The raffle was again well supported and £250 is being donated to Pancreatic Cancer Relief.

Trophy winners were:

Long Distance Male: Swanny
Long Distance Female: Lys
Long Distance Overseas: Axel
Best Bike: Nigel and his Triumph T160 that has covered over a quarter of a million miles.
Grot Bike: Shuf and his very colourful Kawasaki
Tale of Woe: Redditch Dave for giving up his tent to Alan and Suzy who had brought the wrong poles for their own tent.

A few arrived on Thursday night and then left to visit the Brass Monkey Rally. Others did it the other way round. Overall it was the same faces, but with some new attendees for the first time.

Dates for 2026: 9th to the 11th January
