I don't think this is officially a rally but I'm filing it as one here; with thanks to Graham Cooper.

I find a BLUE SKY for a short while on the Fosse Way  (Which the Romans started to build from AD 46) travelling south into Warwickshire and North Oxfordshire.

Memories a funny thing and it takes a while for memories to surface sometimes, which is why this personal recollection of the Mayflower Clubs FREE Rally is being written now. I saw the notice in the club papers and mentioned it to Terry my son in law and being patriotic, we decided to attend.

It all happened back in mid June 1999, at the Leek camping weekend, when, after a few beers (my downfall) that Heather and Keith suggest I go on a little trip to India with them and a few others. As you do, you say “ yes, no problem, send me some info!”.

A classic late summer weekend - perfect camping - excellent pub.
